Application Process
To apply to Study Abroad at CEDEI, please complete the following forms:
Additional documents
Send the following documents to oip@cedei.org:
- Liability Release Form
- Passport picture (Note: passports must not expire for at least 6 months after the student’s date of return to their home.)
If applying for the STUDENT TEACHING PROGRAM, before arrival, student teachers are required to present:
- An FBI background check (apostilled in the student’s country) on the official requirements of the Ministry of Education in Ecuador.*
- A signed Letter of Commitment (Memorando Nro. MINEDUC-CZ6-2022-04491-M – Ministry of Education) provided by CEDEI.*
- No Spanish required. However, a minimum level of Spanish will make the experience more enriching.
If applying for the FALL OR SPRING SEMESTER PROGRAMS, students are required to send the following:
- University transcript (GPA 2.5 minimum)
- Two recommendation letters
*CEDEI will guide applicants in the fulfillment of these requirements.
