Full Immersion Spanish Program (FISP)

The Full Immersion Spanish Program is one of our individual-oriented programs that immerses students in the language and culture while giving them the freedom to involve themselves in the community.

The program includes (per week): stay with a local family, 20 hours of one-on-one Spanish instruction, one Andean music class, one Latin dance class, one art class, and one weekend excursion to a site of historical or cultural interest near Cuenca. In order to provide a solid base for learning the language, individuals must enroll in the FISP program for a minimum of two weeks. There is a four week maximum; however if you wish to continue taking classes afterwords, we encourage you to enroll in Spanish Tutorials at CEDEI.
